Tips
To get the 35
point Upper Section bonus you need to score 3 dice in each of the
Upper Categories.
The Chance can be a
great 'get out of jail' category, but...
Sometimes sacrificing
lower value categories (ie, Ones, Twos and Threes) can be better
than using up the Chance (which can score up to 30 points).
A Large Straight is
worth nearly as much as a Yahtzee, so don't leave it until the last
few rolls.
Play the odds!
When going for the 4
of a Kind, hold high value dice. If you don't get the 4 dice
required, you should still have a good score for a few other
categories.
If you're already
holding 2,3,4 and 5, the chances of getting the Large Straight are
better than if you're holding 1,2,3 and 4.
